SOCIAL MEDIA GRAPHIC DESIGNER — FREELANCE / REMOTE

PLEASE READ IN FULL BEFORE APPLYING. INCOMPLETE APPLICATIONS WILL AUTOMATICALLY BE DISQUALIFIED.

IMPORTANT: This is a remote freelance/subcontractor opportunity. Candidates must have excellent written and spoken English, strong social-first design skills and be able to work independently to deadlines.

About the Opportunity

Rosie's People is supporting a specialist social media strategy consultancy to identify talented freelance creative support for client content delivery.

The end client works with medium-sized businesses to build strategic, sustainable social media systems linked to business outcomes. This is not generic corporate content creation. The work needs to feel social-first, engaging, relatable, polished where needed, and suitable for audiences across the UK and US.

We are seeking a Social Media Graphic Designer who can create high-quality carousel content, social graphics and templates for client social media channels.

The ideal candidate will understand how to design content that performs on platforms such as LinkedIn, Instagram and TikTok, while maintaining strong readability, visual clarity and brand consistency.

This role is fully remote and suitable for candidates based outside the UK, provided they can demonstrate excellent English, strong creative judgement and reliable delivery.

Application Process & Mandatory Qualifying Questions

You must answer ALL questions clearly and specifically within your covering note/letter. Applications that do not provide full responses will be automatically disqualified.

  1. Are you available for remote freelance work on an ongoing monthly basis?
  2. What are your compensation rate expectations per month for a full time/40 hours a week gig? (You must provide a specific figure or range. Responses such as market rate, negotiable or open to discussion will result in automatic disqualification.)
  3. Please share links to your portfolio, social media design work, Behance, Canva examples, Instagram, LinkedIn or other relevant handles.
  4. Have you created social media carousel content before? Please share examples.
  5. Are you comfortable working from written briefs and applying client brand guidelines?
  6. What tools do you use? For example, Canva, Adobe Creative Suite, Figma or others.
  7. What is your usual turnaround time for social media graphics once a brief is provided?
  8. Are you comfortable receiving feedback and completing up to two rounds of revisions within agreed deadlines?

Applications without relevant examples of social media graphic design work will not be considered.
