Employee Contract Type:

Local - Fixed Term Employee (Fixed Term)

This position will be responsible to create social media plan and executions and coordinate content management in order to intensively raising public awareness and engagement to support Wahana Visi Indonesia’s ministry.

All staff are expected to contribute to Wahana Visi Indonesia’s core approaches—Transformational Development, Advocacy, and Emergency Response. During emergencies, this role may be required to support organizational readiness and response efforts, ensuring timely, coordinated, and accountable delivery of assistance in line with established systems and standards.

Strategy Development & Planning

  • Design social media strategy for each social media platforms (Instagram, TikTok, Facebook, Linkedin, YouTube, and Whatsapp Channel), that supports the organization branding, and the acquisition and retention strategy of all units within RDC.
  • Create consistent, meaningful content on all social media platforms, including writing and editing social media posts to improve public engagement, and promoting social media campaigns.
  • Engage and maintain relation with nano and micro influencers to collaborate with WVI's social media.

Resource Acquisition & Management

  • Manage and distribute content to all WVI’s social media platforms (Instagram, TikTok, Facebook, Linkedin, YouTube, and Whatsapp Channel) that supports the organization branding, and the acquisition and retention strategy of all units within RDC.
  • Create regular engagement of all contents posted on WVI's social media platform.
  • Analysis of social media trends and performance in coordination with Digital Marketing Performance Executive (DMPE).

Capacity Building

  • Assist and giving support for social media implementation and activity to reach awareness across WVI's social media audience.
  • Implement Branding and Integrated Communications (BIC) capacity building strategy and plan in close coordination with Operations, People & Culture, and Regional Office.

Accountability & Quality Assurance

  • Maintain and manage WVI’s social media in alignment with Brand Guideline and Safeguarding policy.
  • Explore new touch points to increase reach and target audience.
  • Monitor the interactions to avoid organization reputation risk.
  • Provide actionable reports, dashboards, and analysis that give leaders timely and accurate data they need to make decisions.

Networking & Coordination

  • Collaboration with other team in RDC to enhance the effectiveness of the contents in each social media channels and to ensure that the deliverables could benefit organization’s branding prepositions.

Management & Leadership

  • Develop and manage annual performance agreement
  • Submits periodical/ monthly accomplishment report
  • Build and maintain positive spirit of working in team with other staff in respective unit and department
  • Provide Christian value and support to enrich the organization's life, faith, Christian commitments and ministry to the disadvantaged children and communities we seek to serve.
  • Be a role model and inspiration in managing work, communication, and relationships with internal staff and external parties.
  • Manage all implementations and risks related to Communications according to organization policies, guidelines, and standard. This includes risks in fraud, safeguarding, and other related risks 

Requirement

  • Bachelor's degree in communications/digital communications/digital marketing.
  • Minimum 5 years professional experience in social media function in company/ advertisement agency/NGO.
  • English proficiency (spoken and written) with a minimum TOEFL score of 450
  • Domestic may be required.
  • Comfortable with and excited by managing an NGO environment with complex work streams.
  • Able to work for extended periods using computer/laptop and mobile devices for content creation, monitoring, and reporting (adapted based on role activities)
  • Willing to perform occasional domestic travel when required for campaign coverage, field documentation, or collaboration events
  • Possess in depth knowledge of social trends in Indonesia including defining the effective online advertising channel to target the right audience in every campaign.
  • Excellent copywriting skills.
  • Solid knowledge of SEO, keyword research, Facebook Blueprint, Hootsuite, Google analytics, and other social media knowledge needed.
  • Hands on experience in social media content management.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills and must have a thorough understanding of social media management and strategy.
