Job Description

In this role, you will be responsible for researching and turning content ideas into videos, images, infographics, and text captions. You will also help the Social Media Content Manager to create and execute a content calendar. A deep interest in current social media trends is required to be successful in this role.

Essential Function and Responsibilities:

  • Create various forms of social media content—primarily short form videos, reels and images—suitable for the various social media platforms, Twitter, TikTok, Facebook, Instagram, and YouTube.
  • Publish posts according to the established social media content calendar.
  • Collaborate with the marketing team to ensure that every piece of content is relevant and helps the company maximize engagement, reach, and sales.
  • Ensure every piece of content you create aligns with our brand voice.

Supervisory Responsibilities:

  • None

Performs any other functions and duties assigned and necessary for the smooth and efficient operation of Market America.

Computer/Communication Skills:

  • Deep knowledge of social media trends, hashtags, and engagement strategy.
  • Ability to work with creative tools like Adobe. • Proven experience in creating engaging content on different social media platforms—Twitter, TikTok, Facebook, Instagram, and YouTube.
  • Ability to turn a concept into compelling content.
  • Ability to incorporate our brand voice and identity in digital content. • Extensive knowledge of the popular social media platforms.

Travel:

  • Annual conference participation and related travel

Physical Requirements and Work Environment:

• Normal office environment with little exposure to dust and weather conditions prevalent at the time (i.e., cold hot/humid)

• Routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, cameras, photocopiers, and filing cabinets

• Regularly required to talk, walk, stand, bend, twist, reach with hands and arms, stoop kneel and crouch

• Raise and lower an object from one level to the another, less than twenty (20) pounds.

• Visual acuity must be a minimum or 20/40 (corrected) and normal hand/eye coordination

• Normal or corrected hearing

• Must be able to perform in an office environment where ninety (90) percent of work is performed sitting.

• Occasional long or irregular hours of work
