Then you might be the Social Media & Customer Engagement Specialist we are looking for.

At Peleman Industries we help professionals present information in a sustainable and professional way. For our UK team in Horsham, we are looking for a commercially driven and digitally strong Social Media & Customer Engagement Specialist who connects digital communication with human interaction.

Your role

As Social Media & Customer Engagement Specialist, you guide customers through their digital journey, from first interaction to follow-up and aftercare.

You combine social media, CRM, e-commerce and marketing communication with personal follow-up via email, phone and video call. You understand different customer segments and know how to translate their needs into relevant communication and actions.

You report to the Teamlead Customer Engagement and collaborate closely with Marketing, Order Administration and Sales to continuously improve the customer journey.


Who you are

๐Ÿ“ฒ Customer contact and commercial follow-up

  • Actively follow up digital leads via email, phone and video call

  • Proactively contact customers when relevant, you are not afraid to pick up the phone

  • Maintain structured contact with customers across different professional segments

  • Analyze needs and guide customers through their decision-making process

  • Follow up after campaigns, downloads or webshop interactions

  • Warm handover to Sales when relevant

  • Provide aftercare and maintain strong customer relationships

You are commercially aware, but you do not apply hard sales techniques. You build trust first and create long-term relationships.

๐Ÿ’ฌSocial media, CRM and e-commerce

  • Create and manage segment-focused social content in collaboration with marketing

  • Contribute to email campaigns and communication flows

  • Manage and update content in our CRM system Fly2Data

  • Work with marketing automation tools such as Active Campaign

  • Manage and optimize Shopify pages, products, visuals and content

  • Contribute to landing pages, segment pages and conversion paths

  • Analyze visitor behavior and customer interactions

  • Provide structured feedback to marketing and development on improvements

You do not build the technical setup of automations yourself. Marketing handles the technical configuration, while you contribute content, ideas and feedback based on customer interactions.

๐ŸŒŸContent and segment communication

  • Develop segment-focused communication for professional target groups such as real estate, schools, legal advisers, facility managers and funeral homes

  • Write conversion-driven content for social media, email, website and campaigns

  • Translate customer questions and conversations into insights and communication opportunities

๐ŸคReporting and insights

  • Monthly reporting on digital acquisition, conversions per segment and engagement

  • Monitor phone follow-up impact

  • Translate insights into concrete improvement actions together with marketing and your team lead

What you bring

You combine digital skills with genuine human connection.

  • A Bachelorโ€™s degree or equivalent experience in marketing, communication or digital media

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills

  • Strong with language and visual communication

  • A strong customer and segment orientation

  • Commercial and analytical insight

  • Comfortable working with CRM systems and digital tools

  • A structured and proactive way of working

  • Curious, digitally savvy and not afraid to take initiative
