Summary-

We are hiring a Social Media Coordinator for San Antonio Winery in Los Angeles, CA. This role is ideal for someone who understands that successful social media requires both creative storytelling and strong organization. The Social Media Coordinator will help manage the day-to-day social media presence of the business—from content planning and copywriting to content capture, scheduling, community engagement, and performance reporting. The ideal candidate is a strong writer, visual storyteller, self-starter, and problem solver who can manage multiple projects while working closely with marketing, restaurant, winery, retail, events, and other internal teams. The role may require occasional evenings/weekends to capture content and support winery, restaurant, and special events. Candidates should be comfortable working in an active hospitality and event environment and adapting to changing priorities.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities- Current duties may be changed if the job requires and/or additional duties may be assigned if necessary.

• Develop, organize, and execute compelling social media content across multiple brands, locations, and platforms.
• Write creatively and collaboratively with an emphasis on attention to detail and proper grammar for captions/copy.
• Create detailed spreadsheets and/or proposals for social calendars or content.
• Utilize Content Management Systems effectively to schedule and execute social posts upon approval from marketing leads.
• Maintain an internal organized library of content and assets.
• Partner with department managers and leads to concept new ideas and stay up to date on business needs and opportunities to drive growth.
• Create reports and summaries recapping social performance metrics.
• Support social and marketing teams with content capture and other on-site duties at winery events.
• Perform all other tasks as assigned by management.
• Reply and monitor comments on social media handles, engaging with followers and partnering with vendors.
• Stay updated on the latest social media trends, technology and tools and incorporate them into our content strategy to maximize engagement.
• Utilize AI tools to aid in job performance and workflow.
• Utilize content capture technology such as DSLR/mirrorless cameras, lighting, etc. in an efficient manner.

Minimum Qualifications-

• College degree in marketing, advertising and/or 2+ years of relevant experience
• Minimum of 2-3 years in social media coordinating and content creation.
• Competent with Microsoft Office, Canva and/or Adobe Creative Suite.
• Proficient in grammar, copywriting, and asset selection.
• Experience with video editing software/apps
• Experience with content management systems like Airtable, Sprout, and/or Asana.
• Proficiency in creating various forms of digital content, particularly for social media platforms like Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, YouTube, Pinterest, LinkedIn and other like platforms.
• Strong interpersonal skills – this position requires you to develop and nurture relationships with winery staff, management and outside vendors/influencers
• Capable of working independently and as part of a team
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong time-management skills and an ability to organize and coordinate multiple concurrent projects in a timely manner.
• Strong follow-through and the ability to give, receive, and implement clear feedback.
• Strong emotional intelligence and the ability to navigate a variety of personalities, priorities, and situations professionally.
• Comfortable working in an in-person and mobile, interactive environment.
• Flexible team player, willing to adapt to changes and unafraid of challenges.
• Ability to maintain confidentiality of sensitive information related to the company.
• Resourceful and solution-oriented with the ability to anticipate needs and identify opportunities.
• High level of emotional intelligence and ability to navigate complex situations.
• Self-motivated and comfortable working in an environment that requires flexibility, initiative, and independent problem-solving.

• Some weekends/evenings required for winery events.
