Job Description

As Social Media Coordinator Southern Europe and UK, you will support the Social Media Managers in delivering social media activity across Belmond’s Southern Europe and UK properties. The role will assist with content planning, scheduling and publishing; copywriting; asset coordination; content calendar management; and social media reporting, ensuring all activity reflects Belmond’s distinctive tone of voice and brand standards. Working closely with hotels, internal stakeholders and external partners, the role will support campaigns, photo and video shoots, and content initiatives that enhance Belmond’s digital presence and engage audiences across platforms.

We seek a highly motivated individual with previous experience within the luxury sector. The role is part of the Southern Europe and UK Social Media team and will work closely with internal stakeholders to deliver social media strategies that drive brand awareness, engagement and meaningful connections with our audiences.

Core Responsibilities

  • Support the day-to-day management of social media channels across Belmond Southern Europe and UK properties.
  • Assist with grid planning, scheduling and publishing across Instagram, Facebook, LinkedIn and other relevant platforms.
  • Copywriting: write engaging social media copy that reflects Belmond's distinctive tone of voice.
  • Coordinate the monthly social media content calendar, ensuring posts are scheduled accurately and delivered on time.
  • Coordinate social media assets, ensuring imagery and video content are organised and readily available on internal image libraries.
  • Work closely with hotels and internal stakeholders to source relevant content, identify key storytelling opportunities and support the delivery of social media campaigns.
  • Support the organisation of photo and video shoots by assisting with planning, logistics, content requirements and coordination with internal teams and external partners.
  • Track campaign performance and prepare regular reporting using platform analytics and reporting tools.
  • Support the Social Media Managers with ad hoc marketing and social media projects.

Requirements

To carry out your job effectively, you will need to demonstrate proficiency with the following personal skills, qualities and attributes:

  • Minimum of 2 years of experience within the social media and marketing field.
  • Fluent in English and Italian. Additional languages are a plus.
  • Desirable background in the luxury industry.
  • An understanding of Instagram, Facebook, LinkedIn, TikTok and emerging social platforms.
  • Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines.
  • Comfortable working collaboratively with cross-functional teams and multiple stakeholders.
  • Ability to work well under pressure and effectively handle multiple, concurrent demands and appropriately prioritise responsibilities.
  • Proficient use of Canva and social media scheduling and analytic platforms.
  • Strong visual and creative skills: ability to understand art direction, luxury and evaluate on-brand/off brand content.
