Job Description

Proud to be 100% Canadian-owned, Northland Properties' are recognized as one of the most trusted names in hotels, restaurants, resorts, sports, construction, and asset management. Our well-known and loved brands have been bringing people together to celebrate unforgettable experiences across Canada, the US, Ireland, and the UK for over 50 years. As Canada’s fastest-growing hospitality group, we believe the foundation of our continued success is our people and their ability to take great care of our guests.

About Us
Revelstoke Mountain Resort (RMR) is a division of Canada’s largest privately held hospitality company, Northland Properties Corporation (NPC), and since its inception in 2007, we have gained a reputation for big mountain riding, legendary powder and an authentic Canadian resort town.

Powder days. Bike laps. Patio sunsets. Deep snow stories.
At Revelstoke Mountain Resort, we’re looking for a creative and driven Social Media Coordinator to help bring the mountain lifestyle to life across our digital channels. From filming first chair on a storm day to capturing après at golden hour, this role is all about telling authentic stories that connect people to the experiences we create.
Reporting to the Social Media Supervisor and collaborating with the full Marketing team, you’ll manage and create content for Revelstoke Mountain Resort and its associated brands, including (but not limited to) Revelstoke Mountain Resort, Revelstoke Bike Park, Selkirk Tangiers Heli Skiing, Critical Parts, Rockford Bar & Grill, and The Mackenzie Common Tavern.
If you’re equal parts storyteller, trend watcher, content creator, and outdoor enthusiast — and you thrive in a fast-moving environment where no two days are the same — we want to hear from you.
Key Responsibilities:
Bring the Brand to Life
• Capture and create engaging content across Instagram, TikTok, Facebook, YouTube, and other platforms.
• Be on the mountain and in the action — documenting powder days, bike park sessions, events, food & beverage moments, guest experiences, and everything in between.
• Produce platform-specific content including reels, stories, short-form video, photography, graphics, and copy.

Build Community
• Engage with our audiences through comments, DMs, reviews, and brand mentions in a timely and authentic way.
• Foster meaningful connections with guests, locals, athletes, creators, and mountain enthusiasts.
• Keep a pulse on trends, conversations, and cultural moments relevant to our community.
Execute Social Strategy
• Support and evolve the social media strategy across multiple brands and seasons.
• Plan and maintain social calendars that align with campaigns, events, and business objectives.
• Help drive awareness, engagement, visitation, and brand affinity through creative storytelling.
Collaborate & Create
• Work closely with teams across marketing, events, operations, and food & beverage to bring campaigns and experiences to life online.
• Curate and manage user-generated content through CrowdRiff, including rights management and asset organization.
• Support contests, surveys, influencer collaborations, and broader marketing initiatives.
Analyze & Optimize
• Track performance metrics and social insights to understand what resonates with audiences.
• Use analytics and platform trends to continuously improve content and engagement.

Qualifications & Skills
• Must be eligible to work in Canada - can provide SIN documentation
• 1–2 years of experience in social media, content creation, marketing, or communications.
• Strong copywriting and communication skills.
• Experience with tools such as Canva, Adobe Creative Suite, CapCut, Sprout, or similar platforms.
• Photography and videography experience, especially mobile-first content creation.
• Understanding of social media analytics, trends, and platform best practices.
• Experience in tourism, hospitality, or outdoor recreation is an asset.
• Passion for skiing, snowboarding, biking, or mountain culture.
• You live and breathe social media and understand what makes people stop scrolling.
• You’re highly creative with strong photo, video, editing, and storytelling skills.
• You’re tuned into trends but know how to keep content authentic and on-brand.
• You’re organized, adaptable, and comfortable juggling multiple projects at once.
• You’re confident working independently, but collaborative by nature.
• You’re excited by the idea of working outdoors, on the mountain, and in a fast-paced tourism environment.
Compensation and Benefits:

• Free Season pass
• Discounted lift tickets for friends and family
