The Social Media and Content Specialist will help build the More, Tangerine and PayNuts brands and increase engagement with the brands customers through the development and implementation of the More, Tangerine and PayNuts Social Strategies. This is a pivotal role in the expression of the brand and the acquisition and retention of customers.

They are a creative, passionate, and organised self-starter who is responsible for the development of the annual Content Plan, and the execution of brand, product, partnership and category content and stories that aligns to the brand strategies, tone of voice and meets customer and commercial objectives.

Responsibilities

  • Ownership of the social media and Content strategy for More, Tangerine and PayNuts. · Ownership of all organic social media channels including but not limited to Instagram, Facebook, TikTok and LinkedIn.
  • Develop and implement the Content Strategy and amplify across a range of channels to enhance brand awareness, assist in driving customer acquisition, engagement of product, brand and campaign content, and help with building loyalty and advocacy.
  • Work with the internal creative team to lead the creation of engaging and original content and where needed capture and edit visual content, including photos and videos.
  • Monitor social media trends and insights to identify trends and opportunities for improvement.
  • Collaborate with the marketing and CX team to ensure content alignment with overall business and commercial objectives.
  • Collaborate with the brands partnerships to develop and implement social media planning and content creation.
  • Collaborate with the Content and PR Specialist to ensure alignment with reactive and proactive public relations activity. Ensure brand voice and messaging are consistent for each brand and in line with brand guidelines across all content and platforms.
  • Ensure SEO best practice for written content and work in conjunction with the Digital Marketing team.
  • Report and analyse social media metrics and performance and strategies for future performance improvement.
  • Own the influencer strategy for More and Tangerine
  • Work with external agencies where required to assist with executing the social media strategies.

Experience

  • Tertiary qualification in Marketing, Business, Communications or Journalism
  • Relevant experience in a social media and/or similar role
  • Proven social media experience, including leading and executing content and social strategies
  • Prior telecommunications industry experience (preferred but not essential)

Skills

  • Ability to connect social media strategy and execution to team OKRs, business priorities and commercial outcomes.
  • Creative mindset with a passion for storytelling and content creation
  • Copywriting and SEO
  • Understanding of recent trends in digital, social media, and other marketing disciplines
  • Commercial acumen and strong analytical capabilities for campaign development
  • Excellent communication
  • Strong team collaboration
  • Excellent organisation and time-management
  • Experience with social media management platforms
  • Experience using project management platform Monday.com
