Social Media & Content Professional

We are looking for a creative and dynamic Social Media & Content Professional to support our global Communications Team. In this role, you will help drive WACKER’s global digital presence by creating and publishing engaging, target-audience-specific content across various channels.

Key responsibilities

• Support the development and implementation of social media strategies on key social media platforms for WACKER worldwide, such as LinkedIn, Instagram and Facebook
• Create, edit, and publish engaging content on the respective social media platforms in close collaboration with the global Corporate Communications Team, as well as with other relevant internal stakeholders and/or external agencies as needed
• Manage and maintain the editorial calendar to ensure timely and consistent publication
• Analyze social media performance metrics and prepare reports with actionable recommendations for optimization
• Support social media campaigns, including budgeting, scheduling and paid promotions
• Monitor and engage with online communities to strengthen audience relationships and increase engagement
• Drive content management for email marketing in Salesforce Pardot
• Stay up to date with social media trends, platform developments, and emerging technologies, including AI-driven content tools

Requirements

• A college degree in marketing, communications, media, or a comparable qualification
• Experience in social media management – ideally in the B2B sector – including experience with social media management systems
• Proficiency with relevant tools such as MS Office, Canva, Adobe Premiere and Adobe Photoshop
• Strong communication skills, a high degree of initiative and creativity, as well as a keen sense of visual design and digital trends
• Analytical thinking, KPI expertise, and experience in reporting
• Willingness to experiment with the use of AI, prompting and machine learning
• Excellent English skills
• A strong team spirit and enthusiasm for working in international settings
