Brightway is seeking a social-first marketer who lives and breathes content creation. This individual will lead the creation, distribution, and optimization of social media content across Brightway's channels while serving as a primary content creator, storyteller, and brand amplifier.
The ideal candidate is a true social native who understands how content performs differently across LinkedIn, Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, YouTube, X, and emerging platforms. They are equally comfortable developing content ideas, filming on location, editing video, interviewing agency owners, engaging influencers, analyzing performance metrics, and occasionally stepping in front of the camera themselves.
This is a highly visible, hands-on content creation role that requires creativity, speed, adaptability, and a willingness to travel to capture compelling stories across the Brightway network. Candidates should be excited to create, film, edit, publish, and optimize content themselves—not simply manage agencies or coordinate social media calendars.
Key Responsibilities
Content Creation & Social Execution
Own the creation, distribution, and optimization of social media content across Brightway channels.
Create high-quality content quickly while maintaining brand standards and platform relevance.
Develop content tailored to multiple audiences including prospective franchise owners, insurance customers, employees, referral partners, and industry influencers.
Understand how audiences engage differently across platforms and make thoughtful decisions about when content should be repurposed versus tailored to maximize performance.
Own and maintain the social content calendar and identify opportunities to participate in relevant industry, cultural, and business conversations.
Build and continuously expand a scalable content library that supports ongoing social media efforts.
Storytelling & Content Discovery
Identify compelling stories throughout the Brightway system and transform them into engaging content across multiple formats and platforms.
Interview agency owners, leadership, employees, referral partners, and clients to uncover authentic stories and insights.
Create thought leadership content featuring executives, franchise owners, and subject matter experts.
Partner with stakeholders across the organization to capture and share meaningful business, customer, recruiting, and franchise development stories.
Video Production & Creative Development
Capture, produce, edit, and publish short-form and long-form video content across all major social platforms.
Create platform-native content optimized for LinkedIn, Instagram Reels, TikTok, YouTube Shorts, Facebook, and emerging channels.
Film content independently using mobile and professional equipment.
Edit video content with a focus on storytelling, engagement, and platform performance.
Create graphics, animations, and social assets using Canva and other creative tools.
Collaborate with designers when appropriate while maintaining the ability to create content independently.
Influencer & Community Engagement
Identify, cultivate, and manage relationships with relevant influencers, creators, franchise owners, industry experts, and brand advocates.
Develop influencer engagement opportunities that expand reach, credibility, and awareness.
Monitor social conversations and identify opportunities for Brightway to participate in meaningful ways.
Help position Brightway leaders and franchise owners as trusted voices within the industry.
Analytics & Performance
Track, analyze, and report on key social media metrics including engagement, reach, audience growth, traffic, and business impact.
Understand which metrics matter and provide recommendations based on performance data.
Continuously test, learn, and optimize content based on audience insights and platform performance.
Utilize AI and emerging technologies appropriately to improve efficiency while maintaining authenticity and content quality.
Paid Social & Content Amplification
Partner with marketing teams to amplify high-performing content through paid social channels.
Understand platform advertising capabilities, audience targeting, boosting strategies, and content promotion best practices.
Leverage paid social insights to improve organic content performance and vice versa.
Qualifications
Required Experience
3-5+ years of hands-on experience in social media, content creation, digital marketing, or creator-focused roles.
Experience marketing to both B2B and B2C audiences.
Demonstrated success growing engagement and audiences across multiple social platforms.
Proven portfolio of original content across LinkedIn, Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, YouTube, and other major channels.
Experience creating content featuring entrepreneurs, business owners, executives, franchisees, customers, or subject matter experts.
Experience managing influencer, creator, ambassador, or thought leadership relationships.
Required Skills
Deep understanding of platform culture, audience behavior, content formats, creator trends, and social media best practices.
Exceptional storytelling, interviewing, and content discovery skills with the ability to uncover compelling stories and transform them into engaging content.

Expert-level Canva skills, including graphic creation, animation, templates, motion graphics, and social asset development.
Comfortable appearing on camera and directing others on camera.
Strong understanding of social media analytics, reporting, and performance measurement.
Working knowledge of paid social media advertising, boosting, targeting, and content amplification strategies.
Sound judgment regarding when AI should be leveraged and when authentic human creativity is required.
Strong project management, organizational, and prioritization skills.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Ability to work quickly without sacrificing quality.
Travel & Location
Based in Jacksonville, FL or Charlotte, NC.
Willing and excited to travel regularly to agency locations, conferences, events, and content opportunities.
Comfortable driving or flying as needed to capture compelling stories and content.
Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-growth environment.
Who Thrives Here
This role is ideal for someone who takes ownership, moves quickly, and enjoys building things. The strongest candidates are naturally curious, obsessed with understanding what makes content perform, and constantly studying creators, brands, trends, and emerging platforms.
Successful team members at Brightway demonstrate:
Ownership mentality — you treat outcomes like they are your own.
Bias for action — you move quickly, test ideas, and make things happen.
Curiosity — you actively learn from creators, brands, data, and audience behavior.
Outcome focus — you understand the difference between being busy and driving results.
Client obsession — you care deeply about creating content that serves audiences and strengthens trust.
This role thrives in a fast-paced environment where experimentation, adaptability, and continuous content production are expected.
