This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for a Social Media Content Evaluator (Portuguese) based in Brazil.
This is a flexible remote opportunity for a Portuguese-speaking professional interested in contributing to the development of artificial intelligence and media analysis.
You will review short-form video content and identify the languages used in spoken audio and on-screen text.
Your work will help create accurate, high-quality datasets that can be used to train and improve machine learning systems.
The role combines linguistic expertise, cultural awareness, attention to detail, and structured content evaluation.
You will validate whether content accurately reflects the Brazilian Portuguese language and cultural context.
As a freelance position, you can choose your working hours as long as the required daily commitment is fulfilled.

Accountabilities
- Review and analyze short-form video content to identify all languages present in spoken audio and on-screen text.
- Evaluate whether the language used is consistent with Brazilian Portuguese and the intended local context.
- Validate linguistic and cultural elements within media content, ensuring that content reflects authentic usage in the target locale.
- Generate accurate ground-truth labels using internal classification and data annotation tools.
- Follow detailed project guidelines and classification standards consistently across all assigned content.
- Perform quality checks to ensure labels are accurate, consistent, and suitable for machine learning training datasets.
- Identify potential ambiguities or inconsistencies in content and apply the relevant evaluation guidelines when making classification decisions.
- Maintain a high level of attention to detail and consistency throughout the evaluation process.
Requirements
- Currently residing in Brazil
- Native-level written and spoken fluency in Portuguese
- Strong understanding of Brazilian Portuguese language usage and cultural context.
- Excellent attention to detail and ability to identify subtle differences in language, text, and audio content.
- Ability to follow detailed instructions, classification rules, and data-entry guidelines accurately and consistently.
- Comfortable working independently and managing assigned tasks within the required daily schedule.
- Reliable high-speed internet connection.
- Access to a secure personal computer or laptop suitable for remote work.
- Previous experience in data annotation, content moderation, translation, transcription, linguistic quality assurance, or similar fields is a plus but not required.
- Strong digital literacy and willingness to work with internal content evaluation and labeling tools.
