Job Description

Social Media and Content Assistant

This new and exciting role will involve the day to day social, email, and content coordination. Working for a prestigious global business, no two days will be the same and we are looking for passion and enthusiasm to work in a fast paced and highly rewarding opportunity.

The role within Social Media & Content:

·Assist the Marketing Manager with the creation of social media content

·Creating engaging content, scheduling posts, engagement with communities and monitoring of social media activity

·Ensure that the organisations brand and identity is displayed clearly and correctly in campaigns and across all communication channels

·Involves developing content including text and some video content (also includes graphics and artwork though does have the support from the creative graphics team)

·Work in conjunction with other members of the marketing team to ensure the department achieves its required goals and objectives.

·Assist with the collation of information for promotional literature.

·Proofread marketing collateral and copy.

·Upload marketing content to website, social media pages, and sales library.

·Provide support and marketing materials for trade shows and exhibitions.

·Support with administration duties.

Skills and Qualifications:

  • Strong understanding of social media platforms and their best practices.
  • Engaging content creation skills, including writing, image editing, and video editing.
  • Ability to create engaging and shareable content.
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Basic analytical skills to monitor and evaluate social media performance.
  • A willingness to learn and grow within the field
  • Working with a variety of job briefs, where excitement creates compelling posts.

The salary is commensurate with experience; this is an office-based role in a highly creative space. Early finish on Fridays.
