
This position typically starts around $48,000 and works a variable schedule, including evenings, weekends and holidays. Team members begin accruing PTO starting on day one, and full‑time employees are eligible for benefits after 90 days.
The Social Media Specialist is responsible for developing, executing, and managing engaging social media content to promote the casino’s brand, entertainment offerings, promotions, and guest experience. This role plays a key part in driving customer engagement, brand awareness, and visitation through strategic and creative digital storytelling.
Working closely with the Marketing team, this position supports a variety of marketing initiatives including special events, promotions, player programs, and on-site activations. The Social Media Specialist monitors trends, interacts with guests online, and ensures all content aligns with brand standards and regulatory guidelines.
This role requires flexibility, with variable hours including evenings, weekends, and holidays, to support live events, promotions, and real-time content opportunities in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.

Is the primary point person in creating, curating and promoting content on social networks.
Runs point on listening on social networks and responding and is the “voice” of the brand on these networks.
Lead insights into content marketing strategies to produce, edit and distribute original content, articles, feature stories and special content to grow audiences, awareness, and engagement metrics/conversion across multiple platforms.
Contribute to editorial calendar keeping content refreshed, accurate and up-to-date; work closely with PR, Entertainment, Gaming, F&B, etc. to develop, ideas for articles on relevant topics, showcasing specific/seasonal themes and events.
Drive research and awareness of hot/effective social media campaigns to continually evolve strategy.
Audit and maintain standards/guidelines on brand tone, voice, and curation content mix.
Leverage tracking strategies to monitor and evaluate impact of programs in market; develop reports on program effectiveness in market and makes recommendations for program enhancement and improvement.
Develop and present recommendations for increasing ratings and review traffic through third parties (e.g., Yelp, Trip Advisor, Google, etc.).
Lead insights into digital trends across all areas of multicultural communities and social platforms.

Must be at least 21 yrs. of age.
Ability to read, write, and understand English.
Communicates effectively and maintains positive working relationships with guests, coworkers, and management.
Must pass the required background check.
Will be required to obtain a Missouri Gaming License
Report to work in a neat and clean clothing, with slip resistant shoes. Well-groomed hair and personal hygiene are essential.
Bachelor’s degree in related field and/or equivalent work experience required.
Candidate should be self-motivated, detail orientated and prioritize multiple tasks.
Computer proficiency in Microsoft Office products, Canva, Photo Shoppe and Adobe Creative and other related social media and advertising software products.
In depth knowledge and understanding of online community platforms and their respective participants (Forums, blogs, photo uploads, social, etc.) and how they can be deployed.
Excellent verbal, written, and presentation skills.
Minimum 2-3 years of experience managing online communities and/or platforms for brands.
Ability to work in a loud, fast‑paced environment while handling multiple tasks under time constraints.
Requires frequent standing, walking, bending, lifting, reaching, pushing, and pulling throughout the shift.
Must be available to work nights, holidays and weekends as needed.
