ABOUT THE PROJECT
The Tram to Springvale Alliance (TSA), made up of BMD Constructions, CPB Contractors and Arup, is delivering the Eastern Freeway Upgrades between Tram and Springvale roads. The works include new express lanes, upgraded noise walls, and revitalised areas of the Koonung Creek Linear Park.

The project is being delivered under an Alliance Contract with Victorian Infrastructure Delivery Authority (VIDA), forming a single, collaborative team. As part of the North East Link Program (NELP).

We’re completing the link together and bringing it home for our community.

ABOUT THE ROLE

Join our Social Impact team as a Social Inclusion Advisor, where you'll support a range of initiatives that create positive outcomes for people, communities and industry.

We're looking for a relationship-focused person with strong coordination, communication and organisational skills. Direct social impact experience is desirable but not required. Candidates from stakeholder engagement, workforce development, HR/recruitment, communications, project support or similar backgrounds are encouraged to apply.

Reporting to the Social Inclusion Manager, you’ll work closely with project teams, subcontractors, employment providers, community organisations and industry stakeholders to help deliver important social outcomes across the project.

WHAT YOU’LL BE DOING

  • Coordinate employment, workforce participation and inclusion initiatives that support the project's social impact objectives.
  • Lead and support stakeholder engagement activities, events, workshops and awareness initiatives.
  • Help deliver volunteering, networking, supplier showcase and community-focused programs.
  • Prepare reports, presentations, communications and performance data to support project commitments and outcomes.
  • Monitor program performance and identify opportunities to improve social impact, workforce participation and community outcomes.

WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR

You may have experience in:

  • Stakeholder/Community engagement
  • HR, recruitment or workforce development
  • Communications, project coordination or program delivery
  • Diversity & inclusion, admin & reporting
  • Government, not-for-profit or construction-related environments

Most importantly, you’ll bring:

  • Exceptional relationship-building and communication skills.
  • Strong organisation and attention to detail.
  • The ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.
  • Confidence working with data, reporting and documentation.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and a continuous improvement mindset.
  • A genuine interest in creating positive social and community outcomes.
