About the Role:
Reporting to the Social & Digital Manager, you will support the execution of best-in-class, data-driven social and digital media strategies and campaigns (across paid, owned and earned) for our priority brands and programs. You’ll help manage day-to-day social content, community engagement, creator partnerships, content publishing, and website updates, while working closely with internal stakeholders, production teams, agencies, and external partners to deliver engaging audience-first experiences

You will contribute by:
• Build our social & digital communities, drive engagement and conversation with our brands as assigned (Lifestyle, TMS and TMS2).
• Assist with community management activities, including audience engagement and moderation as required.
• Escalation of issues and broader conversation themes to Manager
• Support the end-to-end creator lifecycle, including contracting, onboarding, briefing, content delivery, feedback, publishing, relationship management and invoicing.
• Oversee video content creation by various internal and external production arms (e.g. Creative Agency) to ensure optimal content performance.
• Maintain and execute content calendars under the direction of the Manager.
• Create and publish social content to support programming priorities, campaigns, tentpole events, and brand initiatives.
• Coordinate asset requests and content delivery with internal stakeholders, creative teams, production partners, and external vendors.
• Support sales sponsorships as outlined by the Manager.
• Develop graphics and use of image library for our brands across the social & digital ecosystem
• Attend events and on-site shoots to capture and produce timely, high-impact social content that enhances audience engagement while integrating key messaging.
• Support YouTube channel management, including content scheduling, metadata updates, publishing, and performance tracking..
• Assist in the execution of social content across paid, owned and earned channels, ensuring content is platform-native, audience-first, and aligned with brand voice.
• Support paid social campaign execution and boosting initiatives in collaboration with the media agency.
• Prepare regular performance reports and summarize key learnings and recommendations for stakeholders
• Coordinate content approvals and manage content requests through established workflows and tools.
• Updates on branded websites as necessary.
• Occasional opportunity to contribute content to Corus lifestyle brands and appear on-camera, across different platforms, as approved by VP of Marketing. Includes filming, editing and posting timely and relevant social-first content.
• Coordinate content requests and asset delivery through established workflows and tools, including SharePoint.
• Monitor content performance and identify opportunities for optimization across platforms.
• Conduct social research, both proactively and reactively, and keep up-to-date on evolving industry trends
• Apply social insights to content creation and posting strategy
• Apply paid agile boosting as needed
Skills and experience you will bring:
• 1–3 years experience
• Basic social design and editing (e.g. photo and video editing, graphic design)
• Comfortable with social media platforms
• Understanding of social analytics
• Comfortable with Content Management Systems, including WordPress
• Strategic thinking and creative problem solving
• Exceptional organizational and prioritization skills
• Excellent communication and engagement in meetings and brainstorms.
