At DEPT®, we create social-first content that helps brands stay culturally relevant while remaining true to their identity. For a new premium client team, we are looking for a Social Creative with a strong eye for ideas, storytelling and cultural relevance, and a refined sense of visual taste.
This role sits at the intersection of strategy, creativity and culture. While platform knowledge and trend awareness are important, we’re looking for someone who knows how to turn cultural insights into strong social ideas for premium brands. Someone who understands that not every trend is worth following, and that great social content is built on strong thinking, not just execution.
You’ll be joining a multidisciplinary team of strategists, creatives, producers, and account managers helping shape the social presence of one of the world’s most respected premium brands.
JOB PURPOSE
First and foremost, you are a conceptual social creative You think in ideas, formats and narratives. You understand what makes content perform on social, but more importantly, what makes it meaningful for a brand and its audience.
You have a strong sense of aesthetics and understand what distinguishes premium brands from mass-market brands. You know how to develop ideas that feel culturally relevant, visually refined and strategically grounded.
You are curious about culture, platforms and human behaviour, but you don’t chase trends blindly. Instead, you translate cultural moments, platform behaviour and audience insights into strong creative directions that elevate the brand.
You may have worked across luxury, premium lifestyle, design, interiors, hospitality, fashion, automotive or consumer electronics brands. You understand how to balance brand guidelines with social-native thinking, and you know that the best ideas are simple, sharp and intentional.
While you may not be focused on execution like editing or production, you understand what great social content looks like and can confidently guide creative output to ensure it meets a high visual standard.
As a Social Creative, you are responsible for developing social-first ideas, concepts and content directions that combine platform relevance with premium brand storytelling.
Your main focus is ideation, concept development and storytelling across formats. From product-driven content ideas and creator collaborations to campaign thinking, reactive content and always-on social formats, you help define how the brand shows up across social channels.
You’ll work closely with strategists, producers, editors and account teams to ensure ideas are not only culturally relevant, but also executable and on-brand.
