Reporting to the Brand & Marketing Manager, the Social Content Producer is a hands-on, highly creative role at the heart of how Paralympics Australia shows up in culture and connects with audiences. You’ll create social-first content that brings our athletes, stories and moments to life - from planned campaigns and long-lead creative concepts to spotting and capturing moments as they happen.
From developing a concept and getting behind the camera, to editing, writing copy and publishing in real time, you’ll be involved in the full creative process. No two days will look the same, and you’ll have plenty of opportunity to experiment, try new things and make your mark.
Working closely with the marketing team, this role will play a key role in growing our social channels and finding new ways to make Paralympic sport, our athletes and what we stand for relevant, engaging and impossible to ignore.
We’re looking for a creative powerhouse who knows what makes people stop scrolling - and has the skills, curiosity and instinct to turn great ideas, stories and athlete moments into content people want to watch, share and engage with.
You’ll have demonstrated experience creating social-first content, particularly short-form video, and bring a strong storytelling lens, a sharp visual eye and an understanding of what works across different platforms, audiences and formats. You’ll be curious about what’s next, plugged into the culture of social and able to turn an idea into something people genuinely want to see.
Most importantly, you’ll be excited by the opportunity to make Australian Paralympians and Para sport famous.
We strongly encourage applications from Paralympians, people with disability or with Para sport experience.
At Paralympics Australia, we prioritise the continuous development of our team members, nurturing leadership qualities. As a valued member of the PA team, you will receive support and opportunities for growth through access to ongoing professional development in leadership.
Paralympics Australia is an equal opportunities employer dedicated to fostering diversity and establishing an inclusive workplace for all employees. We welcome applicants with lived experiences and encourage you to reach out if you require any reasonable adjustments to support you throughout the application and recruitment process. Please email people@paralympic.org.au for assistance.
To apply please submit a copy of your CV, along with a cover letter or video application addressing the role requirements before 5pm Wednesday 21 October 2026.
