Job Description

We are working closely with a local authority in Monmouthshire to assist with the appointment of a Social Care Trainer, on a 6- months contract, highly likely to be extended at clients discretion. Please apply with your CV for immediate consideration.

Rate of Pay £18.82- £24.67 per hour

Monmouthshire is Social Care Trainer to join the Workforce Development Team within the Social Care and Health Directorate. The successful candidate will design, coordinate, and deliver high-quality learning and development programmes that equip the social care workforce and partner organisations with the skills, knowledge, and confidence to promote the independence and wellbeing of residents. 

Responsibilities

  • Design, coordinate, and deliver engaging learning and development programmes for the social care workforce and partner organisations.
  • Plan and deliver learning opportunities across a wide range of social care topics to meet organisational priorities and legislative requirements.
  • Organise training events, including booking venues, maintaining attendance records, and supporting related administration.
  • Source and develop appropriate learning resources and training materials in collaboration with the Social Care Workforce Development Manager.
  • Maintain compliance with mandatory training, health and safety requirements, and professional development expectations.

Qualifications:

  • Experience delivering professional training within a social care or health environment.

Essentials:

  • Previous experience working within a social care or healthcare setting.
  • Experience delivering All Wales Manual Handling Passport training and First Aid programmes.
  • Experience designing, coordinating, and evaluating learning and development programmes.

Please note:

  • You should be available to work immediately or at a short notice.
  • You should have right to work in U.K
  • This role requires an Enhanced DBS
