Summary
The Soccer Operations Coordinator is responsible for coordinating all soccer operations for Asphalt Green Soccer Club (AGSC) under the direction of the Associate Director of Soccer and/or the Director of Soccer Operations. This role oversees the day-to-day operations of AGSC’s competitive teams and supplemental programs, ensuring a high-quality experience for athletes, families, and staff.
Responsibilities
- Manage and supervise operational aspects of competitive team programming (approximately 520 athletes) under the direction of the Director of Soccer and/or Associate Director of Soccer.
- Assist with staff oversight, including scheduling, onboarding, and training for approximately 20 part-time coaches.
- Conduct weekly staff and player evaluations.
- Serve as a primary point of contact for coaches, handling a high volume of communication.
- Perform essential administrative duties to support daily operations.
- Coordinate travel logistics for staff and players, including tournaments and events.
- Assist with player registration, payments, and data intake across systems.
- Coordinate and support AGSC events, including club initiatives and special programming.
- Assist with AGSC tryouts and player placement processes.
- Travel with staff to provide on-site tournament support as needed.
- Perform additional duties as assigned by the Director of Soccer Operations or Director of Soccer.

Qualifications
- Minimum USSF “D” License or equivalent coaching certification.
- Bachelor’s degree in Business or a related field required; Master’s degree or MBA preferred.
- Minimum of 3–5 years of experience working in a youth sports environment.
- Previous youth soccer coaching experience.
- Strong administrative, organizational, and time-management skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, particularly in working with a demanding parent community.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, including Excel, Word, and Teams.
- Experience working in a Salesforce environment preferred.
