Job Description

About the Role

KalSoft is looking for an experienced SOC Manager to oversee the effective and continuous operation of the SOC across onsite and remote shifts. The role involves managing SOC performance, leading L1/L2 Analysts, overseeing incidents and escalations, and coordinating with key stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities

  • Oversee day-to-day SOC operations and ensure adherence to defined SLAs and reporting standards.
  • Lead and mentor L1/L2 SOC Analysts, assign workloads, and review escalations.
  • Coordinate with Mala'a management and engineering teams to improve detection, rule tuning, and escalation processes.
  • Review security incidents for accuracy, completeness, and timely closure.
  • Prepare weekly and monthly operational reports covering incidents, trends, and recommendations.
  • Act as the primary point of contact for SOC performance, incidents, and escalations.
  • Drive continuous improvement through process documentation and playbook enhancement.

Deliverables

  • SOC operational reports with documented shift handovers and escalation tracking.
  • Reviewed incident investigations and monthly performance dashboards.
  • Root-cause analysis and lessons-learned reports for major incidents.

Requirements

  • 10+ years of experience in SOC, Cybersecurity, or Security Operations.
  • Strong experience in SOC management and security incident handling.
  • Experience leading and mentoring L1/L2 SOC Analysts.
  • Strong communication, analytical, and stakeholder-management skills.
  • CISSP, CISM, GIAC (e.g., GSEC), and/or relevant ISACA certifications.
  • Experience with SOC processes, security monitoring, incident response, and SLA management.
