Skills & Qualification

• Proficiency in security information and event management (SIEM) tools to analyze and interpret security alerts
• Strong understanding of network protocols and cybersecurity principles to identify threats and vulnerabilities
• Experience in incident response and forensic analysis to effectively manage security breaches
• Knowledge of SOC 2 compliance requirements to ensure adherence to security standards
• Ability to perform risk assessments and implement mitigation strategies
• Excellent communication skills for collaborating with technical and non-technical stakeholders
• Proven experience in scripting and automation for security operations tasks
• Familiarity with intrusion detection systems and firewalls to enhance threat detection

Responsibilities

• Monitor and analyze security alerts from various data sources to identify potential threats
• Lead incident response efforts, coordinating with cross-functional teams to mitigate and resolve security issues
• Develop and maintain security policies and procedures aligned with SOC 2 standards
• Conduct regular vulnerability assessments and penetration tests to evaluate security posture
• Collaborate with IT and development teams to integrate security measures into system design
• Provide training and guidance to team members on security best practices and compliance requirements
• Prepare detailed reports and documentation for security incidents and compliance audits
• Stay updated on emerging threats and industry trends to proactively improve security measures
