
Supervise students
Provide academic support in core subjects (math, reading, science, etc.).
Utilize knowledge in the Science of Reading, Mathematical Habits of Mind, and Evidence- based practices to plan and facilitate small-group instruction and intervention in ELA & Math.
Assist with homework and deliver targeted interventions for struggling students.
Lead small-group enrichment activities (e.g., STEM, arts) and programs that utilize the K-3 WVCCR standards.
Plan, facilitate, and participate in recreational activities
Monitor student behavior and attendance.
Administer assessments as needed.
Collaborate with site coordinators to track progress.
Other duties as assigned by supervisor.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in education (Multi-Subjects K-6, K-8 Elem Ed K-6; K-5; or 1-6 required)
Training in the Science of Reading and Numeracy, preferred
Valid teaching certification or equivalent experience as an educator.
Strong interpersonal skills.
Organizational skills.
Experienced educator
First aid/CPR certification (preferred but required for at least one staff per site).
Working Conditions:
4 Days a Week at Spencer Elementary School
