We are seeking a skilled Cloud Computing Engineer to manage and optimize our cloud and on-premises infrastructure. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining internal Linux and Windows servers, ensuring security and compliance, and managing cloud services comparable to Bosch’s Business Data Lakehouse Managed Services. This role requires strong technical expertise, problem-solving skills, and the ability to optimize costs while maintaining high service standards.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Server Maintenance, Hardening, and Vulnerability Management

  • Manage Linux servers and Windows servers.
  • Perform system hardening, patching, and configuration according to security best practices.
  • Conduct regular vulnerability assessments and remediation.
  • Ensure system availability, performance, and reliability.

2. Cloud Service Management

  • Operations & Monitoring: Ensure smooth operations of cloud environments, monitor system performance, and proactively address issues.
  • Incident, Problem, and Change Management: Manage incidents, perform root cause analysis for recurring problems, and implement approved changes in accordance with ITIL processes.
  • Monitoring, Backup & Restore, Patching: Implement robust monitoring, maintain backup and restore procedures, and apply updates and patches as required.
  • Service Request Management: Respond to cloud-related service requests efficiently and accurately.
  • Cloud Cost Optimization: Perform cost analysis, identify opportunities for resource cleanup, and set up budget alerts to optimize cloud expenditure.
  • Security Management:
    • Manage identity and access controls, including permissions and roles.
    • Maintain asset inventories and ensure compliance with security policies.
    • Ensure adherence to corporate policies and cloud security best practices.

3. Collaboration & Documentation:

  • Document system configurations, processes, and procedures.
  • Collaborate with internal teams and external vendors to implement cloud and server solutions.
  • Support audits and compliance initiatives.

Qualifications

  • Proven experience with Linux and Windows server administration.
  • Hands-on experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP).
  • Knowledge of cloud cost optimization, monitoring, and backup strategies.
  • Familiarity with ITIL processes (Incident, Problem, Change Management).
  • Strong understanding of security management, identity & access management, and policy compliance.
  • Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Certifications such as AWS Certified Solutions Architect, Azure Administrator, or Linux/Windows Server certifications.
  • Experience with Business Data Lakehouse or similar managed cloud services.

Educational Background

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Software Engineering, or a related field.
  • Relevant certifications in cloud platforms (e.g., AWS Certified DevOps Engineer, Azure DevOps Engineer Expert) or container technologies are a plus.
  • University requirements (meet any ONE of the following):
    1. A top-ranked overseas university of equivalent standing (e.g., within the QS or Times Higher Education Top 200).
    2. For candidates educated in Vietnam, graduation from a leading Vietnamese university such as:
      • Vietnam National University, Hanoi (VNU-Hanoi)
      • Vietnam National University, Ho Chi Minh City (VNU-HCMC)
      • Hanoi University of Science and Technology (HUST)
      • Other institutions of similar prestige
