In this role, you'll:


Working as part of a team delivering safe and reliable public transport outcomes by providing technical leadership for integrated operational technology systems and enabling end‑to‑end interoperability across Metro and Light Rail programs, from field devices through to cloud platforms.

  • You will lead system integration and commissioning across Metro and Light Rail programs to deliver safe, reliable, and operable public transport technology outcomes.
  • You will assure integration readiness and acceptance by reviewing and endorsing test plans, commissioning strategies, and acceptance evidence.
  • You will oversee end‑to‑end interoperability across multi‑vendor environments, resolving complex integration issues and defining interface specifications to support delivery, handover, and operations.
  • You will provide expert technical advice and risk communication to stakeholders while driving continuous improvement in integration and commissioning frameworks, standards, and practices.

About you

  • You bring a relevant engineering qualification or equivalent experience across systems, electrical, mechanical, software, or mechatronics disciplines.
  • You have deep expertise in Metro and Light Rail operational technology, including system integration, commissioning, and operational handover.
  • Your skill in systems assurance enables you to rigorously review test plans, commissioning evidence, and acceptance criteria for complex transport systems.
  • You demonstrate strong end‑to‑end systems architecture capability and communicate complex technical issues clearly to operational and executive stakeholders.
