Position Title: Project Engineer

Location: Dubai, UAE
Department: Construction / Site Execution
Reporting to: Project Manager / Construction Manager
Employment Type: Full-time

We are looking for a dynamic and detail-oriented Project Engineer to join our growing team at Meraki Integrated Contracting The ideal candidate will be responsible for supporting project execution on-site, coordinating with consultants and subcontractors, and ensuring timely, safe, and quality delivery of works in line with project specifications.

Key Responsibilities:

Planning & Coordination:

• Review project drawings, BOQs, and specifications to understand scope and schedule.
• Assist the Project Manager in preparing work programs, procurement schedules, and progress reports.
• Coordinate with site teams, subcontractors, consultants, and suppliers to ensure uninterrupted progress.
• Participate in project and coordination meetings and follow up on assigned actions.

Site Execution:

• Supervise daily activities on site to ensure works are executed according to drawings and specifications.
• Monitor quality, safety, and productivity to ensure compliance with standards.
• Identify and report deviations, delays, or resource requirements to management.
• Assist in preparing inspection requests (IRs) and material approval requests (MARs).

Documentation & Reporting:

• Maintain daily logs, site reports, and work progress records.
• Assist in the preparation of weekly/monthly progress updates and dashboards.
• Support quantity take-offs, cost tracking, and material reconciliation as needed.
• Ensure proper documentation for site inspections and handover processes.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering or Construction Management.
• 10 years of UAE experience in Project execution of residential, commercial, or mixed-use building projects.
• Familiarity with authority approvals, local construction codes, and project documentation.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD, MS Project/Primavera, and MS Office Suite.
• Strong interpersonal, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
