As an experience Test Manager, you will be someone who thrives on being at the forefront of technology and is ready to lead testing for an AI/ML-powered implementation for a major government client.

What will you do?

Test Strategy & Planning

  • Elicit testing priorities based on business objectives, desired customer experience, and technical risk.
  • Develop and maintain the overall test strategy, test plans, and schedules in alignment with program timelines and milestones.
  • Define and clearly communicate the testing approach for AI/ML components, securing stakeholder buy-in and confidence.
  • Establish test objectives, scope, risks, resources, and deliverables for each testing phase.

Test Management

  • Lead and coordinate testing teams, including contributors to UAT.
  • Collaborate with business analysts, developers, solution architects, PMO, and business stakeholders to ensure alignment.
  • Oversee day-to-day testing delivery in line with schedules, budgets, manpower, and quality expectations.
  • Coach, train, and mentor project teams on testing best practices.

Test Execution & Reporting

  • Oversee all testing phases, including SIT, UAT, performance testing, and any additional activities defined in the test strategy.
  • Maintain full traceability from business requirements to test cases and results.
  • Track and manage defects, driving timely resolution through effective triage and coordination.
  • Provide regular, clear test status updates, metrics, and quality reports to program leadership.

Tools & Environment Management

  • Select and implement appropriate test management (e.g., qTest, JIRA), performance, and automation tools.
  • Coordinate test environment setup, data requirements, and refresh cycles.
  • Oversee establishment of an automation framework and other required test infrastructure.

Risk & Compliance

  • Identify and mitigate testing risks.
  • Ensure compliance with NCS methodologies, internal QA standards, and applicable external audit requirements.

The ideal candidate should possess:

  • Diploma or Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Management of Information Systems, or equivalent.
  • 6+ years’ software testing experience, including at least 1 year as a Test Manager on large-scale enterprise programs.
  • Experience with BI systems, ETL processes, and data lakes.
  • Proven track record managing end-to-end testing lifecycles for large transformation programs.
  • Familiarity with automation tools and best practices.
  • Strong expertise in test planning, case design, defect management, and reporting.
  • Exceptional leadership, communication, and stakeholder engagement skills.
  • Experience testing AI/ML-based implementations.
  • Familiarity with Qlik and Talend products.
  • Experience in change management and measuring the business value of testing and improvement initiatives.
