Snowflake Data Engineer1

We are looking for a skilled Snowflake Data Engineer with hands-on experience in Snowflake, working knowledge of Python, and familiarity with workflow orchestration tools like Airflow The ideal candidate will design, build, and optimize scalable data pipelines and data warehouse solutions.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and develop scalable data solutions using Snowflake
• Build and maintain ETL/ELT pipelines using Python
• Develop and manage workflows using Apache Airflow
• Optimize data models, queries, and performance in Snowflake
• Integrate data from multiple sources (APIs, databases, flat files)
• Ensure data quality, integrity, and governance
• Collaborate with data analysts, scientists, and stakeholders
• Monitor pipelines and troubleshoot data issues
• Implement best practices for data security and compliance

Required Skills & Qualifications

• 3–5 years of experience in data engineering or related roles
• Strong hands-on experience with Snowflake
• Proficiency in SQL and data modeling concepts
• Working knowledge of Python for data processing
• Experience with Apache Airflow or similar orchestration tools
• Understanding of ETL/ELT processes
• Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP is a plus)
• Familiarity with version control tools like Git

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with data lakes and big data technologies
• Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines
• Exposure to tools like dbt, Spark, or Kafka
• Understanding of data warehousing concepts and architecture

Soft Skills

• Strong problem-solving abilities
• Good communication and collaboration skills
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment

Nice to Have

• Certifications in Snowflake or cloud platforms
• Experience working in Agile/Scrum teams
