Job Description

Township of St. Clair - Community Services Department

The Township of St. Clair is currently seeking ten (10) motivated individuals for Snack Bar Attendant (Concession) positions within the Community Services Department.

Under the supervision of the Coordinator, Parks & Recreation and the Food Services Lead Hand, Concession – Snack Bar Attendants are responsible for the day-to-day customer service and food preparation operations at the Mooretown Sports Complex food counter. Duties can include but are not limited to the following: safe and reliable operation of the food concession area (i.e. deep fryers, hot dog rollers etc.), processing customer orders / cash transactions, housekeeping and proper sanitization of the food concession space, using equipment to prepare hot beverages, stocking refrigerators / freezers, replenishing condiments and other supplies as needed, ensuring correct opening and closing requirements, etc.

The successful incumbent will also ensure a courteous and professional manner when dealing with the public. Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills are required.

Education and Qualifications:
Food handler certification, as well as concession experience, will be considered an asset. Successful candidates must also have reliable transportation to and from the workplace.

These positions are approved for the 2026 fall / winter season with the Community Services Department. Compensation for this position is established at $17.60 per hour. These are part-time positions. This position will require candidates to work evenings and weekends. Additionally, candidates must be able to work flexible hours.
