SMU's Cox School of Business invites applications for non-tenure track full-time position (700113) in the Real Estate, Risk Management and Business Law Department. Competitive applicants should have a graduate degree in a related field (e.g. real estate, finance, business administration, urban planning), an established record or demonstrated ability of high-quality teaching and demonstrated contributions to the field or industry. Faculty will be expected to teach 18 credit hours per year, participate in university service and to deliver high-quality instruction in courses across the School’s undergraduate, graduate, and professional programs. The position will begin in Fall 2027.

Minimum qualifications Graduate degrees in real estate, finance or a related field such as economics and urban planning; 1-3 years of experience teaching real estate courses at a university level, preferably at a business school, or demonstrated potential for high-quality teaching.
Preferred qualifications Ph.D. in Real Estate, Finance or Economics; established record or demonstrated ability of high-quality teaching at a university level; in-person and online teaching experience; demonstrated contributions to the field or industry.
