SMU’s Cox School of Business invites applications for non-tenure track full-time position (51604) in the Management, Strategy, and Entrepreneurship (MSE) Department. Competitive applicants should have a Ph.D. in Strategy (or a related field), or extensive business experience, an established record of high-quality teaching, and demonstrated contributions to the field or industry. Faculty will be expected to teach 18 credit hours per year, participate in university service and to deliver high-quality instruction in courses across the School’s undergraduate, graduate, and professional programs, which can include online teaching. The position will begin in Fall 2027. Salary and teaching load are competitive, as is support for research and instruction.

Minimum qualifications: Graduate degrees in Management, MBA, or Master’s degree in Strategy; 1-3-years of experience teaching strategy courses at a university level with demonstrated excellence, preferably at a business school.
Preferred qualifications: Ph.D., DBA in strategy, business, or a related field from an accredited university; established record of high-quality teaching at a university level; in-person and online teaching experience; demonstrated contributions to the field or industry. Research in practitioner or academic journals is a plus.
