
SMU DEDMAN SCHOOL OF LAW is seeking applications from qualified persons for tenured and tenure-track faculty positions to begin Fall of 2027. We seek candidates with expertise in the following areas: Criminal Law, Evidence, Tax Law, and Oil & Gas/Natural Resources/Energy Law. We will consider entry-level applicants with excellent credentials and scholarly distinction or promise for criminal law and evidence. We seek established tenured scholars with strong scholarly records for tax law and oil & gas/natural resources/energy law. Candidates must hold a Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree.
