Responsibilities

• Follow up on the production plan according to the priorities assigned by VSM and/or planning.
• Ensure that the preventive maintenance plan is carried out.
• Prepare production reports for management.
• Manage, direct and develop the production supervisors in charge.
• Develop and keep updated the standardized work activities that correspond to themselves, and supervise those of their subordinates.
• Implement continuous improvement in production processes by reducing and/or eliminating waste and activities that do not add value, according to WNC guidelines.
• Analyze and implement corrective and preventive actions using RPS (Rapid Problem Solving) systems.
• Monitor overtime.
• Participate in Kaizen events, carry out and document continuous improvements.
• Enforce safety and discipline rules in their area.
• Be an active promoter of lean manufacturing in their area of responsibility.
• Ensure that the established goals are met.
• Follow up on the priorities and projects that are set.
• Use statistical tools for problem-solving.
• Provide information to their team regarding significant environmental aspects and operational controls of their processes.

Education and Experience

• Completed professional degree, Master's degree preferred.
• Advanced English (mandatory)
• SMT experience (mandatory)
• Minimum of 3 to 5 years of experience in a similar role in manufacturing processes.
• Knowledge of electronic components and/or electronic assembly processes.
• Knowledge and application of lean tools and a focus on quality.
• Proficient in computer software packages (Microsoft Office).

• Effective communication skills at all levels.
• Knowledge and application of Lean Manufacturing tools.
• Knowledge of ISO 9001:2015, TL 9000, IATF 16949
• Knowledge of continuous improvement methodologies and tools.
• Knowledge of problem-solving tools (8D, 5 Whys, DMAIC, etc.).
