Your Responsibilities:
- Product Launch Coordination: Plan, coordinate, and successfully launch assigned products in various production disciplines including manufacturing, materials, QA, and testing.
- Supplier Collaboration: Work closely with equipment suppliers to support goals for manufacturing quality, cycle time improvements, and new equipment qualifications.
- Build Monitoring and Reporting: Organize, monitor, and report results of Design Verification (DV), Production Validation (PV), and pilot builds to ensure adherence to project timelines and quality standards.
- Process Improvement: Diagnose process problems and implement corrective actions to improve yields, reduce costs and scrap, and meet production schedules.
- Parameter Optimization: Identify critical process parameters and assist in enhancing process capabilities, ensuring compliance with established requirements.
- Training and Support: Assist in training and provide support for process technicians and production operators, fostering development and operational excellence.
- Procedure Development: Develop and maintain robust process procedures to guide operational activities and ensure consistency in production processes.
- Maintenance Collaboration: Work closely with the maintenance team and technicians to ensure equipment reliability and optimal performance.
- Line Support: Provide essential support for critical and priority production areas to ensure uninterrupted operations and timely resolution of production challenges.
- Develop, define, and optimize SMT processes including solder paste printing, pick‑and‑place, reflow soldering, AOI, SPI, and X‑ray.
- Provide technical ownership of SMT equipment (printers, placers, reflow ovens, AOI/SPI).
- Lead process capability studies (Cp/Cpk) and implement corrective actions.
- Analyze defects (e.g., tombstoning, bridging, insufficient solder, voiding) and implement root cause corrective actions
Your Qualifications:
Required:
- Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Engineering or a related field.
- Proven experience in industrial engineering and manufacturing environments.
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.
- Strong knowledge of SMT processes, materials, and equipment
- Applicants must be authorized to work in the US without employment visa or other sponsorship
Preferred:
- Experience with Lean Manufacturing and Six Sigma methodologies.
- Proficiency in data analysis and industrial engineering software tools.
- Knowledge of ERP systems and regulatory compliance standards.
- Experience with IPC standards (IPC‑A‑610, IPC‑J‑STD‑001 preferred).
