What a typical day looks like:

  • Lead the full-process management of SMT technology, including parameter setting, optimization and implementation such as solder paste printing, SPI, component placement, reflow, AOI etc.
  • Develop and characterize SMT processes tailored including reflow carriers, stencil design and optimization, solder paste selection and reflow profile etc.
  • Develop and validate all SMT programs (Stencil, placement, reflow, SPI/AOI)
  • Manage the SMT build of proto, EVT, DVT. Analyze and resolve all SMT related defects, providing detail feedback to team for DFM issues
  • Design and execute SMT process qualification and GRR study. Create SMT related documents such as control plan, PFMEA, SOP etc.
  • Troubleshooting and resolving abnormalities in the SMT production process
  • SMT yield and efficiency improvement.
  • Assist production for operator training.

The experience we’re looking to add to our team:

  • Bachelor’s degree or above in Electrical/Mechanical etc.
  • Good English listening, writing & speaking.
  • At least 5 years or above working experience at SMT process, SMT machine experience is plus.
  • Strong background in SMT process development, optimization and troubleshooting, hands-on experience with high power, high-reliability PCBAs is plus
  • Good knowledge of IPC-A-610 and J-STD-001 and in-depth understanding of DFM/DFA principles
  • Proficiency in stencil design and reflow profiling for challenging thermal environments
  • Strong data analysis skill using SPI, AOI and X-ray data to drive process decisions
  • Excellent communication, teamwork, flexible and strong project management
