The Role

As an SMSF Accountant you will:

• Independently manage your own portfolio of SMSFs, ensuring timely and accurate completion of all compliance and administration task
• Proactively monitor workflow to ensure tasks are completed within required timeframes and service standards.
• Have regular contact with advisers, answering questions and follow up queries
• Provide technical advice and resolve complex queries
• Review junior team members’ work and support workflow
• Compile accurate financial reports and data insights

What You Bring

• Tertiary qualifications with proven SMSF accounting expertise
• High level organisational skills with the ability to manage your own portfolio and competing priorities.
• Strong knowledge of SMSF legislation, compliance requirements and accounting principles
• Excellent client communication skills while maintaining fund compliance
• Proficiency with SMSF accounting software, ideally CLASS
• Ability to self-manage and collaborate with a team
