SMS & Email Marketing Specialist:

About the Role:

We are looking for a SMS/Email Marketing Specialist to help manage and optimize direct messaging campaigns across social and messaging channels.

The ideal candidate has hands-on experience running CRM, lifecycle, SMS, email, WhatsApp, Facebook Messenger, Instagram DM, chatbot, or social messaging campaigns. This person should be comfortable learning new campaign platforms, working with beta tools, setting up audiences and flows, testing campaigns, and improving performance based on data.

Responsibilities:

• Set up, launch, and manage direct messaging campaigns across relevant channels.
• Build campaign flows, audience segments, message sequences, links, and tracking.
• Manage campaigns for acquisition, engagement, retention, reactivation, and conversion.
• Coordinate campaign copy, creative assets, approvals, and launch timelines.
• Test campaigns before launch to ensure flows, targeting, links, and tracking work correctly.
• Monitor campaign performance and identify optimization opportunities.
• Analyze results such as delivery, engagement, clicks, conversions, opt-outs, and revenue impact.
• Run A/B tests on messaging, timing, segmentation, and campaign structure.
• Work with internal teams and external platform partners to understand campaign capabilities and limitations.
• Document learnings, campaign setup processes, best practices, and performance insights.

Requirements

Requirements:

• Proven Experience running CRM, lifecycle, SMS, email, WhatsApp, Messenger, Instagram DM, chatbot, or direct messaging campaigns.
• Hands-on experience with campaign automation or messaging tools such as Manychat, Chatfuel, Klaviyo, WhatsApp Business tools, or similar.
• Strong understanding of segmentation, customer journeys, campaign setup, and performance optimization.
• Comfortable learning new platforms and working with beta or fast-changing marketing tools.
• Strong attention to detail when testing campaigns, links, flows, audience rules, and tracking.
• Analytical mindset with the ability to review campaign data and improve results.
• Good copywriting instincts for short-form customer messages.
• Organized and able to manage multiple campaigns, timelines, and stakeholders.

Nice to Have:

• Experience with Facebook Messenger, Instagram DM, WhatsApp, or SMS campaigns.
• Experience with chatbot builders or conversational marketing tools.
• Experience in performance marketing, lead generation, gaming, fintech, ecommerce, or app marketing.
