
Job Summary:The Human Resources Specialist will use the management of Human Resources process accurately to perform his/her duties. Will copy/scan and file all licenses and certifications into the Human Resources System. Prints Badges and provides employee verification. Responsible to assist payroll clerk as needed. Electronic enrollment of employee insurance online. Assist with answering phones and transferring calls to correct Human Resources Personnel. Monitors all requests for supplies for complete office staff. The Human Resources Specialist will be responsible for sending a report to Air-Med of all new hires and terminations for the month. Makes sure that the annual evaluations for each department are done and kept up to date. Sends out a report each month to each department head or manager that has evaluations due. The HR Specialist is also responsible for the updating and maintenance of all job descriptions and evaluations. The HR Specialist will work a 40-hour week with any overtime approved by management. The HR Specialist is expected to function within the scope of approved policies, procedures and regulations for the department and organization. Must be able to work and relate in a professional, non-defensive manner with peers, physicians, administration, and visitors. Will be responsible for documenting employment information accurately and in a timely manner. The HR Specialist is also responsible for diffusing any HR issues that may come up within the department.
