About the Role
We’re looking for a dynamic SMERF Sales Manager to grow group business across the Social, Military, Educational, Religious, Fraternal, and Tour & Travel markets. This is a high-impact role for a motivated sales professional who enjoys being out in the community, connecting with organizations, and showcasing what makes our hotel special.
You’ll be the face of our property for many groups, and we want someone who takes pride in representing a brand built on warmth, professionalism, and exceptional service.

What You’ll Do
• Build and grow group business through proactive outreach, networking, and relationship development.
• Complete approximately 50 weekly sales activities, including outside calls, site tours, prospecting, and client entertainment.
• Negotiate group rates, meeting space, and services that balance client needs with hotel revenue goals.
• Represent the hotel at trade shows, conventions, and community events, you’ll be one of our most visible ambassadors.
• Conduct engaging tours of our guest rooms, meeting spaces, and banquet facilities.
• Participate in weekly Sales and Yield meetings to help shape revenue strategy.
• Maintain strong relationships with existing accounts while aggressively pursuing new opportunities.
• Support special projects and contribute ideas that enhance guest experience and hotel profitability.

What You Bring
• 2+ years of hotel group sales experience with a track record of success.
• A natural ability to connect with people and build trust quickly.
• Strong negotiation and closing skills, you know how to turn interest into revenue.
• High energy, self-motivation, and a passion for hospitality.
• Excellent communication skills and attention to detail.
• Comfort with flexible scheduling, including occasional weekends.
