We are seeking a highly motivated SME Sales Executive to join our growing sales team. In this role, you will be responsible for acquiring small to medium-sized business clients (1-149 employees) by actively engaging in cold calling, door knocking, and area scanning. Your primary goal will be to build strong relationships with business owners and decision-makers to promote and sell dopay’s payroll solution.
Key Responsibilities:
• Prospecting & Lead Generation Conduct cold calls, door-to-door visits, and area scanning to identify and engage new SME clients.
• Sales Pipeline Management Qualify leads, manage a pipeline of prospects, and move opportunities through the sales funnel to close deals.
• Solution Selling Present and position dopay’s payroll solution in a way that addresses the specific needs of small businesses. Create tailored presentations that highlight the value of our services.
• Client Relationship Management Build and maintain strong relationships with SME owners, finance teams, and HR professionals to ensure long-term partnerships.
• Field Sales Activities Regularly visit prospects and clients in person, attending meetings and pitching dopay’s payroll solution directly to business decision-makers.
• Collaborative Sales Approach Work closely with the SME sales manager and internal teams to ensure customer needs are met and deals are closed efficiently.
• CRM Utilization Maintain accurate records of sales activity, leads, and client interactions using the HubSpot CRM system to provide clear visibility on sales progress.
• Market Research Stay informed about local market trends, competitor offerings, and opportunities within the SME segment to stay ahead of the competition.
• Reporting & Performance Metrics Regularly report on sales activities, performance metrics, and pipeline health to the SME sales manager.
Requirements
Qualifications:
• Experience 2+ years of experience in field sales, preferably in B2B sales within fintech, payroll, or financial services.
• Cold Calling & Door Knocking Demonstrated experience and comfort with cold calling, door knocking, and on-the-ground prospecting.
• Sales Skills Strong ability to engage prospects, handle objections, and close deals with small business owners and decision-makers.
• Communication & Presentation Skills Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to deliver engaging presentations to small business clients.
• Self-Starter Highly motivated, self-driven, and comfortable working independently in the field to meet acquisition targets.
• CRM Proficiency Comfortable using CRM software (HubSpot experience is a plus) to track activities and manage prospects.
• Local Market Knowledge Familiarity with Cairo’s SME market and a strong understanding of the local business landscape.
• Team Player Ability to work in collaboration with the SME sales manager and other team members to achieve sales goals.
• Resilience Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and remain persistent in the face of rejection.
