Job Summary

  • MQ administration - in Linux/AIX, in MQ Appliances and in MQIPT (MQ Internet Pass-Through) * Installations and MQ version upgrades in Linux/AIX, in IBM MQ Appliances and in MQIPTs. * Migrating active MQ environments between servers and between datacenters. * End to End MQ environment set up: * Creating & Configuring MQ Queue managers. * Creating & Configuring MQ objects like - Queues, Channels, CONNAUTH, SSL/TLS handshakes, Cluster queues and Cluster Channels, MQ Triggering, MQ Auth, Backout Queues, Streaming queues, Topics & PUB/SUB, configuring MQ Logs, MQ High availability (HA) clusters. * Handling various users/groups/service accounts that use MQ. * Handling new project requests and coordinating human efforts.
