J ob Summary
In this role, you will be part of a team whose primary objective is to prepare TSD mission systems for ATO accreditation and have them approved without undue delay. The customer's long-range objective set goals to integrate cybersecurity into all facets of operational mission systems design and architecture and achieve the highest level of security maturity as defined by the National Information Standards and Technology (NIST) Risk Management Framework (RMF).
Education and Experience
· 12+ years of direct experience that must be in the DoD/Federal Government (Preferred experience is in operational environments on operational mission systems).
· Certifications: Windows 10 and later / Windows Server 2016 and later, Linux, VMware virtual environments utilizing vSphere, PowerShell, VMware, CompTIA Security+ Certification on Operating System (OS), CASP+, CCNP, or other advanced network and computer systems administrator related certifications such as CCNP Security, GCED, or GICSP.
Essential Duties
· Develop and implement a comprehensive IT/OT security program strategies, including vulnerability assessments, penetration testing, and incident response planning.
· Provide technical expertise and guidance to DHS on IT/OT security matters, including threat analysis, risk mitigation strategies, and secure IT/ OT network design.
· Conduct hands-on technical assessments of IT/OT systems and infrastructure, identifying vulnerabilities and recommending corrective actions.
· Support the development and implementation of secure IT/OT policies and procedures, ensuring compliance with federal regulations and best practices.
· Collaborate with OT and IT teams to integrate OT security into overall IT security architecture and incident response planning.
· Stay current with emerging IT/OT security threats and technologies, providing ongoing training and awareness to DHS personnel.
