Job Description: Ansible Automation Engineer Experience: 6–7 years We are looking for an experienced Ansible Automation Engineer with 6–7 years of hands-on experience in infrastructure automation, configuration management, and deployment automation. The ideal candidate should have strong expertise in Ansible playbooks, roles, inventory management, and automation best practices across Linux and enterprise environments. Key Responsibilities - Design, develop, and maintain Ansible playbooks, roles, and collections for infrastructure automation. - Automate server provisioning, configuration management, patching, application deployment, and operational tasks. - Manage Ansible inventories, variables, templates, handlers, and reusable roles. - Work with Linux/Unix systems to automate administration activities. - Integrate Ansible with CI/CD pipelines and enterprise automation platforms. - Troubleshoot automation failures and optimize existing playbooks. - Implement idempotent, secure, and scalable automation solutions. - Collaborate with infrastructure, cloud, DevOps, security, and application teams. - Maintain proper documentation for automation workflows, runbooks, and SOPs. - Support incident, change, and release management activities as required. Required Skills - 6–7 years of experience in IT infrastructure, automation, or DevOps roles. - Strong hands-on experience with Ansible, including: - Playbooks - Roles - Inventories - Variables - Templates using Jinja2 - Handlers - Vault - Collections - Strong Linux administration experience, preferably RHEL/CentOS/Ubuntu. - Good scripting knowledge using Shell, Bash, Python, or PowerShell. - Experience with Git or other version control tools. - Understanding of YAML, JSON, REST APIs, and configuration management concepts. - Experience with automation of patching, user management, package management, service management, and application deployments. - Knowledge of Ansible Tower/AWX or Red Hat Ansible Automation Platform. - Good troubleshooting, debugging, and log analysis skills.
