Overview

We are seeking an experienced Oracle Database Administrator (DBA) to support the administration, maintenance, and optimization of enterprise Oracle database environments. The ideal candidate will have strong experience with Oracle databases, Oracle Exadata, and Linux systems administration and will be responsible for maintaining the availability, performance, security, and reliability of mission-critical database systems.

This position requires an active Oracle Certified Professional (OCP) Database Administrator certification and experience operating within complex, security-focused technical environments.

What will you do?

• Administer, maintain, monitor, and support Oracle database environments.
• Perform administration and operational support for Oracle Exadata environments.
• Monitor database health, availability, performance, and system capacity.
• Troubleshoot and resolve database, operating system, and infrastructure-related issues.
• Support database configuration, maintenance, upgrades, and optimization activities.
• Provide Oracle Linux systems administration in support of database environments.
• Perform Linux systems engineering and administration activities as required.
• Support the security and integrity of sensitive data within mission-critical environments.
• Work with security-controlled systems, software, and data architectures.
• Support Assessment and Authorization (A&A) processes and applicable security requirements.
• Collaborate with database administrators, systems engineers, security personnel, and other technical teams to resolve issues and maintain operational availability.
• Cross-train with team members and provide technical backfill and operational support when needed.
• Develop and maintain technical documentation, procedures, and system configuration information.
• Exercise discretion and sound judgment when handling sensitive information and supporting mission requirements.

Do you have what it takes?

• Active TS/SCI with Polygraph
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical discipline, or an equivalent combination of education, technical certifications, training, and relevant professional experience.
• Demonstrated experience as an Oracle Linux Systems Administrator.
• Demonstrated experience administering and supporting Oracle Exadata environments.
• Strong knowledge of Oracle database administration, maintenance, troubleshooting, and performance management.
• Experience supporting enterprise or mission-critical database environments.
• Strong troubleshooting, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary technical team.
• Active Oracle Certified Professional (OCP) Database Administrator certification.
