Job Description : CMDB Developer — BMC Helix
Job Responsibilities : Develop improvements in the BMC Helix environment — primarily CMDB and SAM (Software Asset Management) related items within the BMC ITSM system Maintain BMC Discovery working correctly and ensure CI data is continuously discovered and updated Build CMDB data models, CI classes, relationships, and reconciliation rules per Solvay requirements Develop automated CMDB population workflows and data validation scripts BMC Helix platform configuration changes (subject to Solvay approval and change management process) Data quality improvement: identify and resolve CMDB inaccuracies, duplicates, and orphaned CIs Monthly physical audit support to confirm CMDB inventory accuracy SAM license reconciliation and compliance reporting support
