The SmartSale Concierge is a customer-facing role focused on educating sellers and agents on the process and benefits of the SmartSale program and guiding property sellers through successful transactions on the Auction.com platform. This role blends consultative sales expertise and agent management with high-touch concierge service, ensuring sellers receive personalized support, program guidance, and a seamless experience from initial contact through sale completion. The ideal candidate is sales-oriented, empathetic, and highly organized, with a strong understanding of real estate and a passion for delivering exceptional service.

Key Responsibilities:
• Seller Engagement & Sales
• Manage inbound and outbound leads with timely follow-up and conversion.
• Conduct calls to promote Auction.com SmartSale platform and facilitate agent assignment.
• Discuss program options and overcome objections-based seller needs.
• Build rapport and cultivate long-term relationships with sellers and agents, providing value beyond the transaction.
• Concierge-Level Customer Experience
• Deliver empathetic, consultative support to sellers in various circumstances, including difficult financial situations. Maintain consistent communication via phone and email throughout the selling process.
• Ensure listings are accurate, complete, and visually compelling.
• Respond to inquiries, resolve complaints, and proactively address concerns to ensure satisfaction.
• Coordinate with assigned listing agents to ensure timely seller outreach, onboarding and consistent seller engagement with high level of service and responsiveness
• Pipeline & Process Management
• Manage a pipeline of sellers at various stages, ensuring timely follow-up and progress.
• Collaborating with listing agents to ensure full engagement throughout the process and ensuring that all parties involved are appropriately representing the interests of Auction.com and our customers
• Ensure timely action when major milestones are reached to ensure all parties are aligned on next steps
• Engage with and manage listing agents throughout the selling process to promote conversion, complete listings, discuss pricing, strategy, and possible outcomes.
• Create and issue reports to monitor service level and seller engagement metrics.
• Monitoring the closing and escrow process and collaborating with internal closing team to ensure all parties are engaged with a timely closing process and working to clear any controllable delays and ensure they are addressed appropriately
• Collaboration & Continuous Improvement
• Share insights and feedback with peers and leadership to improve processes and customer experiences.
• Participate in team initiatives, staff meetings, and training sessions.
• Mentor peers and contribute to a culture of learning and excellence.
• Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:
• Strong consultative real estate sales and customer service skills.
• Effective communicator with the ability to simplify complex processes.
• Proficient in Salesforce CRM and Microsoft Office Suite.
• Knowledge of real estate markets, auction processes, and seller psychology.
• Experience with interpreting and communicating real estate selling strategies via various sources (e.g., BPO, appraisal, AVM, real estate listing sites, public records, etc.)
• Highly knowledgeable of default process, including loss mitigation, foreclosure, short sale & pre-foreclosure scenarios
• Highly organized, adaptable, and able to manage multiple priorities.
• Comfortable working under pressure and navigating sensitive seller situations with empathy.
• High degree of IQ and EQ, must be able to think on your feet
• Qualifications:
• BA/BS degree preferred or equivalent experience in sales, marketing, or real estate.
• Licensed Real Estate Broker or Salesperson – preferred but license required within 12 months of employment start date
• 2+ years' experience with default related transactions in auctions, residential real estate transactions, and/or loss mitigation and short sales.
• Availability to work Monday–Friday and Saturdays (8:00 am–9 pm Eastern Time weekdays, 9 am–1 pm Eastern Time Saturdays).
• This role is an on site position requiring regular in office presence at our Plano, TX location. The nature of the work involves close collaboration with cross functional teams that is best supported through in person interaction.
• Must pass a background check in compliance with Company policies and federal, state, and local laws.

In addition to base salary, this position is eligible for performance bonus.
