Job Location: Wichita, KS 67210SUMMARY
The Smartsheet Developer is responsible for designing, building, and maintaining advanced Smartsheet solutions that streamline business operations, automate workflows, and enable data-driven decision-making. This role will collaborate with cross-functional teams to create efficient processes using Smartsheet formulas, Data Shuttle integrations, conditional automation, and dashboards. The ideal candidate has strong analytical and technical skills with a keen eye for process improvement, workflow design, and user experience.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
- Design, develop, and maintain Smartsheet solutions including grids, reports, dashboards, and forms.
- Build and manage complex formulas (nested IF, AND, OR, cross-sheet references, lookups) to support dynamic, logic-based workflows.
- Develop and configure Smartsheet automations—including multi-branch conditional workflows, triggered alerts, and approval processes.
- Implement and maintain Smartsheet Data Shuttle workflows for importing and exporting data between Smartsheet and external systems.
- Collaborate with business stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into efficient, scalable Smartsheet designs.
- Ensure data integrity, version control, and performance optimization across connected sheets and reports.
- Create and maintain documentation for Smartsheet processes, data structures, and automations.
- Provide user support, troubleshooting, and training for Smartsheet users across departments.
- Integrate Smartsheet with other applications or platforms (such as SharePoint, Salesforce, Power BI, or Excel) as needed.

EXPERIENCE AND EDUCATION
- High school diploma or GED required
- Bachelor’s degree in Information Systems, Business Administration, Computer Science, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
- 2–5 years of experience developing and managing Smartsheet-based solutions in a professional environment.
- Experience with Smartsheet Control Center, Data Shuttle, and API integrations preferred.
- Smartsheet Certified (Core Product or System Administrator) certification is highly desirable.
WORKING CONDITIONS
- This position is on-site in an office environment.
- Standard business hours apply; occasional after-hours work may be required for system updates or project deadlines.
- Requires extended periods of computer use and interaction with digital collaboration tools.
- Must be comfortable managing multiple concurrent projects and priorities in a team-oriented setting.
