Residential Electrician – Smart Home and EV Charger Expert Electrician
Company: Mister Sparky of Fremont-Dublin
Location: East Bay Area (Fremont, Sunol, Dublin, Pleasanton, San Ramon)
Job Type: Full-Time Compensation

• Pay: $30–$40/hour (based on experience) + Performance Bonus
• Total Compensation: $62K–$150K+ (Top performers can earn $150K+)
• Base salary is paid irrespective of volume of work

If you are a journeyman or master electrician, you can make 70K to 150K (& more) in total compensation. WHAT YOU’LL DO

• Perform residential electrical service, repair, and installation
• Install and service:
  • Smart home systems (switches, lighting automation, hubs)
  • EV chargers (Level 2 installations)
  • Electrical panels, surge protection, and upgrades
  • Residential AV system installation
• Troubleshoot electrical systems efficiently and safely
• Deliver a professional, customer-first service experience
• Educate homeowners on problems, solutions, and upgrade options
• Provide upfront pricing before work begins
• Use company systems (iPad/ServiceTitan) for job documentation

REQUIREMENTS
Must Have:

• 8+ years residential electrician or service technician experience
• Strong troubleshooting and diagnostic skills
• Valid driver’s license with clean record
• Comfortable working in customer homes

Preferred:

• Smart home / home automation experience
• EV charger installation experience
• Journeyman Electrician or Master Electrician (or working toward license)
• Low voltage / networking experience
• ServiceTitan experience is a plus. HousePro/Jobber experience is also accepted

WORK SCHEDULE

• Monday – Friday (Typical: 7 AM – 5 PM) or another shift
• Some evenings/weekends based on business needs
• Work-life balance prioritized as we grow

Important note:

• Ability to lift 50+ lbs
• Work in attics, crawl spaces, and ladders
• Prolonged standing, walking, and tool use
• This position is with an independently owned and operated franchise
• Must comply with all local/state electrical licensing requirements
