Class A CDL Driver – Home Daily – $80K–$90K – Richmond, CA

Location: Richmond, CA

Customer: Whole Foods

Home Time: Home Daily

Average Annual Pay: $80,000–$90,000

Pay Rate: $33.50 per hour + overtime

Schedule: 5 days per week

Ruan is hiring local Class A CDL truck drivers in Richmond, California to haul grocery products for a dedicated Whole Foods account. Drivers will make multi-stop deliveries and unload using an electric pallet jack.

This is a union operation with schedules awarded based on seniority.

Pay

• Average $80,000–$90,000 per year
• $33.50 per hour
• Overtime after 8 hours per day or 40 hours per week
• Guaranteed 40-hour workweek
• Paid weekly

Schedule

• Home daily
• 5-day workweek
• Average 8–12 hour shifts
• Current opening is a PM shift
• Weekends required
• Schedules are subject to union bidding and may change at rebid time based on seniority

Equipment & Job Duties

• Drive a late-model day cab
• Pull refrigerated trailers
• Make multi-stop grocery deliveries
• Unload product using an electric pallet jack
• Snow chains may be required for mountain routes
• Snow chaining experience is required for drivers operating Reno and Tahoe routes year-round

Minimum Qualifications

• Must be at least 22 years old
• Valid Class A CDL
• At least 9 months of verifiable tractor-trailer experience within the past 3 years
• No more than 3 moving violations in the past 3 years
• No more than 1 DOT-recordable preventable accident in the past 3 years
• Must meet DOT and FMCSA requirements
• Must create a profile with the FMCSA Drug & Alcohol Clearinghouse before hire
• Must be able to read and speak English sufficiently to understand highway signs and safety instructions, respond to official inquiries, communicate with the public, and complete required reports and records
