JOB PURPOSE
The Customer Service Expeditor will be responsible for tracking and shipping UPS packages daily.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
The Customer Service Expeditor will: ensure weekly parts orders are being completed in a timely manor, and correctly; follow up with department supervisors regarding part orders needed; report any delays for part orders to Customer Service; provide reports / lists of missing items to Purchasing to be ordered; prepare, package and ship all part orders; ship UPS packages daily; track packages; update system with correct shipping information; maintain an organized and clean work area and prepare nightly reports.
WORKING CONDITIONS
Heated and cooled furniture manufacturing plan with concrete floors. Office environment as needed.

MINIMUM EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS
Computer experience.
PREFERRED EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS
Experience shipping items in a manufacturing environment preferred.
MINIMUM EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS
High School Diploma or Equivalent.

High School Diploma or Equivalent.
Must be a Team Player. Must be reliable. Must be able to work with minimum supervision. Must have your own reliable transportation. Must be able to work Weekends and Overtime. Must have strong communication skills in reading, comprehending, speaking, and writing in English. Must be able to operate a computer and email. Must have good vision. Must be able to lift/push/pull up to 50 lbs. Must be detail oriented.
PHYSICAL & ENVIROMENTAL REQUIREMENTS
Must be able to lift/push/pull up to 50 lbs.
Must be able to walk/stand for a minimum of 8 hours per day.
Must be able to work in normal conditions of a furniture manufacturing plant that is heated and cooled.
Must have good vision.
Must be able to wear required PPE of Safety Glasses and close-toe / close-heal shoes when required.
Must be able to adhere to all Safety policies and procedures to prevent injuries to yourself and others.
