This is a role for someone who enjoys independence, hands-on problem solving, and taking pride in fixing things the right way.

You’ll work independently in the field but always with the support of a team behind you.

Every day is different, but the goal is always the same: do the job right and take care of the customer.

  • maintain service vehicle, tools, parts inventory, and equipment in clean working order
  • complete work orders, reports, and documentation accurately and on time
  • participate in training programs to continue developing technical skills
  • follow all safety procedures and maintain a safe work environment

What You Bring

You’ll be a great fit for this Small Engine Road Service Technician role if you:

  • enjoy hands-on work and solving mechanical problems independently
  • take pride in quality workmanship and attention to detail
  • communicate well with customers and teammates
  • stay organized and self-motivated while working in the field
  • care about doing the job right the first time
  • enjoy variety and working in different environments each day

What You Need to be a LandPro Small Engine Road Service Technician:

  • 3+ years of experience performing equipment service repairs
  • strong mechanical aptitude with experience diagnosing and repairing small engines
  • knowledge of mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic systems
  • ability to safely operate vehicles and equipment used for diagnostics
  • basic computer skills and ability to complete digital work orders
  • ability to lift 75 lbs. repeatedly
  • valid driver’s license with a clean driving record
  • ability to provide your own tools for the role

It’s a plus if you have:

  • experience with John Deere, turf, or agricultural equipment
  • previous road service or mobile technician experience
  • experience using Service Advisor or similar diagnostic software
  • ability to mentor or train technician trainees
